The desire to perform came early for Elissa Dowling. Growing up in Connecticut she was just a stone’s throw away from the Great White Way and she took full advantage of it, attending Broadway performances even as a toddler. By age 13 she had already starred in productions of “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Rocky Horror Picture Show”. After she graduated from High School and moved to Philadelphia to attend college on scholarship at the University of the Arts, she continued to hone her acting skills. After graduation in June 2004, she relocated to Los Angeles and has been a working actress ever since. The transition from stage to screen has worked well for Elissa. Thus far she has starred in many films lined up with Lions Gate distribution and has accomplished a body of work within the indie circuit.
